About the “2010 Euro-Africa Week on ICT Research & e-Infrastructures“

• A series of events held under the aegis of the European Commission (DG INFSO) and the African Union Commission (AUC) with the support of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Employment and the Economy of Finland:
  • Meeting of the Joint Expert Group for the 8th Africa-EU Strategic Partnership (JEG8) (Dec. 6, 2010) – TBC
  • 3rd Euro-Africa Cooperation Forum on ICT Research (Dec. 7-8, 2010)
  • 2010 EuroAfrica e-Infrastructures Conference (Dec. 9-10, 2010)
  • Lab Visits (Dec. 10, 2010)
• A week organised by the FP7 EuroAfrica-ICT and the eI-Africa EU-funded projects with the support of the VTT Technical Research Center of Finland

About the “3rd Euro-Africa Cooperation Forum on ICT Research”

• Objective: promote and enhance ICT research cooperation between the 2 continents
• Date: Dec. 7-8, 2010
• Location: Scandic Marina Congress Centre – Helsinki, Finland
• Hosts: the European Commission (DG INFSO / International Relations Unit), the African Union Commission (AUC), the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Employment and the Economy of Finland
