The first African Globelics Doctoral Academy for Research on Innovation and Technology Systems (AGDARITS) for Development is a training programme expected to increase the quality of the Ph.D work undertaken by Africa’s emerging scholars.
The course, which will be held at the School of Computing and Informatics of the University of Nairobi (Kenya) on July 4-16, 2010, will bring together at least 30 Ph.D students from the five regions of Africa and 5 Ph.D candidates from the rest of the world doing research on STI4D and ICT4D who will learn from senior researchers/scholars, from their own colleagues and from the programme’s research methodologies, feedbacks and lectures.
The emergent researcher will return equipped with strong methodological, conceptual and theoretical knowledge in the field.
