The Stakeholders’ Conference 2009 organised by the Network for the Coordination and Advancement of Sub-Saharan Africa-EU Science and Technology Cooperation (CAAST-Net) in the framework of the Joint EU-Africa Partnership, took place last November in Kenya with the aim of enhancing policy dialogue among African and European stakeholders on S&T cooperation.

The event attracted more than one hundred high-level participants from the scientific and science policy communities willing to exchange their experiences and views on the current state of cooperation in S&T between Europe and Africa.
